When you experience a loss, often your loved ones don’t have to tools to help you work through your pain.Grief and bereavement counselling can help you identify and acknowledge your personal experience of loss, move through the difficult feelings associated with loss including sadness, anger, numbness, hopelessness, guilt and loneliness. Grief & Bereavement counselling can help if you are finding it hard when people say that time heals everything, when you need a safe place to discuss what you are going through. If you are missing your loved one after their death, feeling lonely and lost without them. If you are going through a separation or divorce, even the ending of a close friendship can be difficult. You may be experiencing personal losses, such as your job, financial losses, the loss of your home or health. Private losses that you find it difficult to discuss with your family and friends, such as miscarriage, abortion or infertility issues. Caroline will help you make sense of your loss and find acceptance in the new direction your life has taken. What to expect during your counselling session.During your session: Upon arrival, you will be welcomed with a tea, coffee, hot chocolate, juice or water. During your 50 minute session Caroline will work with you toward addressing your current needs. Confidentiality is of utmost importance, the identity of our clients and the content of our sessions, apart from certain legal situations which are outlined at the beginning of our first session, are kept completely private. |
