Anxiety Counselling

Anxiety is a natural human response, it helps alert us to imminent danger. However when your anxiety is constant - with obsessive thoughts, feeling of panic, trouble sleeping, heart palpitations, cold or sweaty hands - keeping you from living the life you deserve, it’s important to get help.

How do I know if my anxiety is a problem?

  • you worry excessively about work, family, money, health, school performance, or any other aspect of life
  • you avoid situations or people out of fear of experiencing anxiety, panic, embarrassment, or failing to meet expectations
  • you seek constant reassurance in relationships
  • you find it difficult to complete tasks because of perfectionism or procrastination
  • you struggle with specific phobias

Counselling for anxiety can help you uncover the causes of your worry and fears, allowing you to develop new, more positive ways of dealing with situations. Caroline will help you work through your anxiety, teaching you tools to learn how to relax, gain coping and problem - solving skills allowing you to learn positive social skills. Gaining confidence to engage in social situations previously too difficult.

What to expect during your counselling session.
